Privacy Policy

This policy covers https://ocrv.pro and any information you give OCRV Center through this website. It does not cover information you give us in person at the shop, over the phone or through your insurance carrier, which is governed by our normal business recordkeeping.
We are a repair shop, not a data business. We do not sell personal information and we do not buy it. Everything below is a plain description of what actually happens.
What We Collect
There are two categories. Information you hand us on purpose, and information your browser reports automatically.
- Information you submit
- Name, phone number, optional email address, vehicle type, whether an insurance claim is involved, and whatever you write in the message field of a repair request or booklet request form.
- Automatically collected
- IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring site and approximate region. This comes from server logs and, if you consent, from analytics.
- Cookies and local storage
- A consent record stored in your browser, and analytics identifiers only if you accept them. Essential storage that keeps the site functioning is always active.
- What we never ask for on this site
- No payment card numbers, no Social Security numbers, no driver license images and no policy documents. Those are handled in person or through your carrier, never through a web form.
How We Use It
Contact information is used to call or write you back about the repair you asked about, and to reach you during a job that is in progress. Message content is used to route your request to the right department before you arrive.
Aggregate analytics tell us which pages people actually read so we can fix the ones that are not working. That analysis never involves identifying an individual visitor.
Who We Share It With
We share with the vendors that make the site and the shop function, and with your insurance carrier when you have asked us to handle a claim. Nobody else.
- Hosting and delivery
- Vercel Inc. hosts this site and processes server logs including IP addresses.
- Email delivery
- Resend delivers form submissions to our shop inbox at info@ocrvcenter.com.
- Bot protection
- Cloudflare Turnstile may verify that a form submission is human. It receives a token and your IP address.
- Analytics
- Google Analytics 4, loaded only after you accept analytics cookies. Declining means it never loads at all.
- Your insurance carrier
- When you ask us to work a claim, we share vehicle, damage and repair documentation with your carrier and adjuster because that is the job.
How Long We Keep It
Web form submissions are retained for 24 months so we can look up a prior conversation. Repair records tied to actual work are retained as long as California law requires for a licensed repair facility. Server logs roll off within 30 days. Analytics data follows a 14 month retention setting.
Your Rights in California
Under the CCPA and CPRA you can ask what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it. You can also opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information, although we do not sell or share it in the first place.
To exercise any of these, email info@ocrvcenter.com or call (949) 799-3387 and say what you want. We will verify who you are before acting, and we respond within 45 days.
- Global Privacy Control
- If your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as an opt-out automatically and record that we did. You do not have to do anything else.
- No retaliation
- Exercising any of these rights does not change your price, your place in the queue or the service you receive.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS with HSTS, a strict content security policy and modern security headers. Form submissions are validated on the server and rate limited. That said, no transmission over the internet is perfectly secure, which is why we do not accept sensitive documents through this website.
Children
This site is for adults arranging vehicle repair. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child submitted information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
If we change how we handle information we update this page, change the version number and reset the consent banner so you can make the choice again with current information.
